Went outside my fandom bubble and saw people being cancelled for shipping two characters who tried to kill each other once damn is this the limit nowadays

Trying to kill each other is a reason to START shipping characters

It is, in fact, a prerequisite.

Last night I started AMC’s Interview with the Vampire. I’m only through episode 1, but I’m just so shocked how much I like it. There are so many changes from the source material; logistic things like character backgrounds and appearances, places, and timeline differences. Yet I have never seen a main cast that rang through as just SO LESTAT and SO LOUIS. I’m just really pleased with it as an Anne Rice fan and as a starving enthusiast of gothic fiction. I hope the following episodes remain true to the themes and spirit of the book. More, please.

You either die a Zoro girlie or live long enough to see yourself become a Buggy girlie.

I think my how-Nandor-was-turned headcanon is that the loss of Jahan made Nandor hellbent on reviving him. Perhaps seeking out dark magics to do so, until he instead found a vampire that turned him.

Maybe he realized that he and Jahan could not be reunited, but at least he could destroy the feeble human needs that resulted in Jahan’s death in the first place. That would explain why his ghost, created at his turning (death) still looks for Jahan as his unfinished business.

We need to go back to using sailing ships full time like immediately. Yes it would take longer to get places but the Aesthetic is unmatched

Like there is nothing sexier hthan this

Can’t wait for OP to get scurvy

Are you under the impression that the ships themselves are what caused scurvy

Once again. Do you think this is the fault of the ships themselves

Mycelium

Unfurls crown to spine

Grasping with anticipation

Sinking through restless feet

Searching like expectant hands

Across ocean,

earth and atmosphere,

Always for her

Her Kiss is Morphine

With opium lips

and a tongue like absinthe

Olive skin and onyx hair

Soft thighs and heavy moans

Her hips atop me

Her hand in my hair

Her breasts on my tongue

Her breath on my skin

Her growing noises in my head

Then they’re all I can hear

My brain succumbs

To the silent numbing deadly fog

At first delightful

And then an empty horror

The world melts away

To pleasure and fear

And there is only her

And her morphine kiss
